The Federal Reserve of New York has announced the appointment of Naureen Hassan as its First Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer (COO). She replaces Michael Strine, who retired at the end of February.

Ruth Euling, Managing Director of De La Rue's Currency Division, has been appointed Executive Director on the Board of the Company, with effect from 1 April.

Ruth has been with De La Rue for over 30 years, in a variety of roles, during which she has managed complex international manufacturing businesses and change initiatives. In October 2019, she was promoted to lead the Currency division and has since been instrumental in improving the performance of all aspects of the division. She also sits on the Advisory Board of the International Currency Association.

Italian paper manufacturer Fedrigoni Group has appointed Ilan Schinazi to the role of Chief Commercial Officer of its Paper & Security division. He joins from Salinas International, where he was Managing Director. He has held previous roles at Diam Pack, Cosfibel Premium and Arjowiggins.
