IMMERSE with SICPA
The decade-defining global pandemic, climate-driven disasters and economic disruptions have all had a profound impact on our personal, professional and social lives. As we continue facing these uncertainties, while living in today’s digital society where we celebrate the advancements and experience the challenges of technological change, we now have the opportunity to set ourselves on an innovative journey towards ensuring a sustainable future.
So says SICPA which, in this context, will be hosting its quadrennial exclusive invite-only event IMMERSION 2022, taking place in Lausanne, Switzerland during a series of seven one-day workshops spanning April to May 2022.
‘IMMERSION invites forward-thinking stakeholders of the currency landscape to come together in fostering partnerships by discussing collective issues, exchanging ideas and sharing insights as to how we can all drive the currency industry forward in a responsible, secured and sustainable manner’, it says.
SICPA will share its newest technologies, solutions, on-going developments and best practices dedicated to cash authentication and the cash cycle, which will help address the major global trends changing business and society today.
Since its first launch in 2012, IMMERSION has successfully hosted two events throughout the years, with the latest edition taking place in 2016. This year, SICPA will be welcoming more than 100 banknote industry leaders, central bank officials and government representatives at Les Bois de Chamblard, an EPFL-owned residence located in Buchillon, near Lausanne.
The venue offers a magnificent functional space nestled in a beautiful natural reserve ideal for discussion and debate.
