Glory Launches Two New Cash Recycling Solutions

Glory Global Solutions is acknowledged as the leader in teller cash recycling solutions, with 100,000 units installed worldwide and a market share, according to RBR, of 56%. To reinforce this position, it has recently launched two new recycling solutions for financial institutions and retailers respectively.

First is its new GLR series of Teller Cash Recycler (TCR) solutions, GLR-100, in the US, which is IoT and cloud services capable. It connects seamlessly to Glory’s secure cloud-based UBIQULAR™ solution to deliver, the company says, enhanced business intelligence, and enable remote monitoring and management of devices across the branch network.

According to Glory, as new branch concepts evolve (ie. become smaller, with a move away from customer cash services), the GLR solution can fit into locations where space is at a premium. This new series of recyclers provides banks and credit unions with flexibility in how they continue to support their customers’ needs for cash transactions, enabling the efficient delivery of essential services, via the traditional teller counter, and assisted service or drive thru.

Second is the launch of what the company terms the next generation of retail cash recycling solutions, known as CASHINFINITY™.

‘Developed based on input from retail customers around the world, together with Glory’s proven experience, the new solutions apply the latest technologies to bring together previously siloed cash processes in-store and beyond to their CIT and banking partners’, said Glory. ‘With disconnected processes now operating in harmony, the results for retailers will be organisation-wide efficiencies, increased cash security, enhanced ROI and opportunities to drive new revenue streams through enhanced staff productivity.’ Glory’s CI-10X recycler is designed to be used at the point of sale (POS), working with digital payment POS solutions. The recycler automatically gives customers their required change.

In the US market a back-office solution, the CI-500X, automates the start and end of day cash processes. It prepares floats for tills, carries out store reconciliation and prepares for CIT cash collections.

Finally, the CI-SEVEREX cash management software organises front and back-office cash handling, providing real-time updates on equipment and cash inventory.

Handling both banknotes and coins, new features enable processing of currencies that were previously unsupported, including Swiss and Polish currencies.
