Ibrahim Stevens has become Governor of the Bank of Sierra Leone. He has been First Deputy Governor since July 2014, and succeeds Kelfala Kallon.
Cornelius Dekop has been appointed Governor of the Bank of Botswana. He succeeds Moses Pelaelo, who has served as Governor since 2016.
Honey Mamabolo has stepped down from the South African Mint, following three and half years as its Managing Director. Her replacement is Lisiwe Mda, previously Managing Director of the South African Bank Note Company.
KURZ’s Business Area Security (BAS) has announced the appointment of Gerben van Wijk as Head of the Banknote Security Team, with responsibility for sales and marketing, and global and technology strategy. He was formerly Sales and Marketing Director for Luminescence Sun Chemical Security.
