Khalid Ibrahim Humaidan has been appointed the next Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain, replacing Rasheed Mohammed Al Maraj, who is stepping down after serving as head of the central bank since 2005.

Ibrahim Stevens is the new Governor of the Bank of Sierra Leone. He has been First Deputy Governor since 2014, and succeeds Kelfala Kallon.

Ronald Gabriel has been appointed Governor of the Bank of Haiti, replacing Jean Baden Dubois, as part of a general overhaul of the central bank’s governing structure.

The new Governor of the Bank of Burundi is Édouard Normand Bigendako. He replaces Dieudonné Murengerantwari, who has been dismissed after just a year in the position.

Cornelius Dekop has been appointed as the new Governor of the Bank of Botswana, succeeding Moses Pelaelo.

Shri Vijay Ranjan Singh has been appointed Chairman and Managing Director of Security Printing & Minting Corporation of India Ltd (SPMCIL) by the Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, replacing Tripti Patra Ghosh. He has also been appointed Chairman of Bank Note Paper Mill India Pvt Ltd (BNPMIPL), the 50:50 joint venture between SPMCIL and Bharatiya Reserve Bank Note Mudran Pvt Ltd (BRBNMPL). He has a career spanning over 27 years in various government roles, and his latest appointment is for a five-year term.

The International Association of Currency Affairs (IACA) has elected three new members to the Board – Marie LeMay of the Royal Canadian Mint, Mary Anne Lim of Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, and Ben Thorpe of Glory.

Keith Williamson, formerly Senior Director for B2B Growth Strategy at CPS (Cash Processing Solutions), has started a new position as Director, Business Development and International Sales at Crane Payment Innovations.
