2025 Proves ‘Steady State’ Year for Cash Management Companies

Over the course of February and March, five of the leaders in the distribution and management of cash in circulation published their annual results for 2025 – ATM and self service specialists Diebold Nixdorf and NCR Atleos, and CIT and cash handling companies Prosegur, Brinks, and Loomis.

The near-universal positive picture painted by the results of these companies this time last year has not been maintained to the same extent. But even so, the results overall point to what can best be termed ‘steady state’.

Good year for Diebold Nixdorf

Diebold Nixdorf increased revenue, operating and net profit in 2025. Sales, both GAAP and non-GAAP, increased by 1.4% in 2025 to $3.8 billion, and operating profit (GAAP) by 33% to $242 million. The operating margin increased from 4.9% in 2024 to 6.4%.

Non-GAAP results were equally impressive – operating profit increased by 10.2% to $336.4 million and the operating margin from 8.1% to 8.8%. Adjusted EBITDA increased by 7.2% to $484.8 million.
