Mints Exceed Expectations for 2025

Monnaie de Paris (MdP) has announced strong financial and operational results for 2025, marking its sixth consecutive year of positive profitability and reinforcing the institution’s ongoing transformation. Contrary to forecasts of a decline in revenue following an ‘exceptional year’ in 2024, largely driven by the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games, MdP has reported an historic turnover at year end.

Total revenue reached €197.2 million, the highest in the institution’s history, supported by growth across all business lines. Operating profit rose to €8.7 million, representing 4.4% of revenue and an increase of 45% compared to 2024, while net income increased to €7.3 million, up by 14% compared to the previous year.

Consolidated net income for the group amounted to €6.1 million.

Production of circulating coinage remained strong, with the organisation minting 1.54 billion coins in 2025. The vast majority produced were for the export market, with foreign circulating coins accounting for 70% of total output, compared with 50% between 2018 and 2022. Revenue from foreign circulating coins reached €54.5 million in 2025, up 32% year-on-year and nearly triple the level recorded in 2017.
