One Month to Go Until HSP Latin America 2026
There is just over a month remaining until the next iteration of the High Security Printing (HSP) conferences, with HSP Latin America scheduled to take place 1-3 June in Guatemala City, Guatemala.
Organised by Reconnaissance International (co-publishers of Currency News), this year’s event features a comprehensive programme that covers everything from regional updates on currency developments across Latin America to next generation banknote design, substrate, and security features.
Attendance is likely to be at capacity for the three-day conference, which includes three pre-conference workshops – one focused specifically on banknotes, one on identity, and a final session on both currency and ID. The first workshop, titled ‘The Banknote Balancing Act – Making Informed Currency Choices’, is limited to central banks and governments only, whilst the combined currency and ID workshop will provide practical guidance on forensic examination of both banknotes and secure documents.
Two days of plenary sessions follow the workshops, split into two tracks covering currency and identification.
