Kusters Celebrates 115 Years

As noted in the May issue of Currency News, Royal Dutch Kusters Enginerg celebrates its 115th anniversary this year.

What began in 1911 as a modest forge in Arcen is now a globally leading specialist in secure currency destruction and circular technologies. 15 years ago, the company was granted the right to use the designation ‘Royal Dutch’ — a recognition it continues to hold with great pride, reflecting more than a century of craftsmanship, reliability and innovation.

To mark the occasion, at the company’s Venlo site a collection of historical facts, milestones and heritage pieces that reflect the company’s rich history have been brough together, offering visitors a tangible insight into the development and craftsmanship that have shaped Kusters over the past 115 years.
