CB+DC Conference Announces 2026 Programme
The CB+DC Conference, which focuses on digital currencies and payments, will hold two events in 2026, one in Kuala Lumpur hosted at Sasana Kijang, the Bank Negara Malaysia’s training facility, 12–14 May and one in Amsterdam 27–29 October. Registration is now open.
The decision to hold the CB+DC Conference every six months is attributed to the rapid pace and substantial scale of innovation reshaping the digital currency and payments landscape. The scope of the conference will expand to incorporate a more comprehensive examination of payments infrastructure alongside CBDCs, stablecoins, and tokenised deposits.
More than 50 speakers will share their insights across these areas, including local perspectives on digital currency, updates on CBDCs, stablecoins, tokenised deposits and programmable money, wallets as multi-asset gateways, technology and infrastructure, emerging themes, including hybrid CBDC models, AI in finance, Real World Asset tokenisation, and geopolitical considerations.
Registration for the Spring CB+DC Conference this May in Kuala Lumpur is open and can be completed on www.cbdc-conference.com/registration.
