HSP EMEA Heads to Morocco

The High Security Printing (HSP) EMEA conference, organised by Reconnaissance (publishers of Currency News™) takes place in Rabat, Morocco from 9-11 February.

This is a first for the event not just in Morocco, but in Africa itself. Africa’s economic momentum, problem-driven innovation, and young, digitally fluent population make it a natural host. And as the largest global user of secure documents, it is also the perfect venue for advancing the development of both physical and digital security solutions.

About the programme

HSP EMEA 2026 will bring together issuers, suppliers, technology providers, and system integrators working across high-security documents, including banknotes, passports, ID cards, tax stamps, and authentication solutions.

The conference opens with specialised pre-conference workshops on the educational value of banknotes, real-world identity fraud case studies, and a central-bank-focused session from De La Rue on informed currency decisions.

Across the next two days, parallel currency and identity tracks will address regional developments, the future of identity and travel documents, sustainable banknotes, design-led security, authentication and intelligence, physical-digital identity, new production parameters, traceability, and technology-driven innovation shaping the sector.
