Two Powerful Data Sources for Currency

Currency Publications now offers two data sources on banknotes and coins – one included in your subscription, and the other for an additional subscription. One is a reference tool, and the other a research tool, and they fulfil different, but complementary functions.

The first data source is CurrencyCheck – formerly known as Currency Index – which is free providing you’re subscribed to one or more of Currency News™, Cash & Payment News™, or Coin & Mint News™.

CurrencyCheck is a reference guide which, as its new name implies, enables you to check individual banknotes and their features and designs – both current and legacy.

It spans more than 2,000 banknotes across 220 countries, offering high resolution scans of fronts and reverses, shot under white, UV and UR light, plus close-ups of key security features.

It also has images of all currently circulating coins, and specifics on colour, composition, year of issue, weight, diameter and edge details.
